On facebook, cat thornton says she was out this morning and saw "a hawks next."

I just wanted to know, "what came before the hawks?"

nothing. I've seen this hawk flying around for the past few months. Today I saw her just as I was finishing my run (while still having about 10 min of walk time to cool down) as she was landing in her nest. I'd not noticed it before, I think it's a more recent addition. I'm pretty excited at the idea of seeing baby hawks as the year progresses though!

Oddly, I've been seeing quite a few Raptors but Corvidae are scarce except for my morning and afternoon murders of Crows, which are somewhat smaller. I haven't seen more than a few Steller's Jays all Winter.

Sadly, both of you missed it.

Cat's misspelling of the word "nest" was "next".

Oh, I saw it, but my Gong (I actually have one) was in the other room. I think Karen bought it for me so she could Gong my one-liners.

They say your mind fixes mistakes when you read. Smile Maybe we all knew it was nest so that's how we read it since we weren't in an 'edit' mode.

Also, I can't tell you how many times I've proof read my writing, clicked on submit, then I see a glaring error. Smile
